Summer residence with unique grandeur
The new owners had a clear wishlist:
The identity and authenticity of the house had to be preserved.
The original construction as a summer house had to remain recognizable.
The spaces needed to be spacious and light.
The art objects needed a prominent place.
The project is a great example of teamwork and synergy with the owners, resulting in a tailor-made home, with the convenience of today and the summer house feeling of yesteryear.
This feeling is further enhanced by the deep lush garden, bordered by centuries-old trees. The romantic incidence of light, sometimes tempered by the old verandas, defines the atmosphere; it is magical, in any season.
